Textures behind the bird concept: Birds: Zeitguised

Few words are available to describe this new piece by  Zeitguised. Lead animator Matt Frodsham (featured recently at the blog) contacts the Jellyfish Act to showcase their new short film. Purely conceptual, yet full of un-comprehensive but masterful texturizing. What seems to be a rig of birds, suddenly becomes in surrealist scenarios. From dynamical simulations, to soft foam objects, "Birds", illustrate the capabilities of CGI. Gifted shift of anatomical animation to abstract portraits.

"A lighthearted essay on contextualized characters.
Reconstruction follows deconstruction."
