Motion capture has been around us for quite a while. The complexity of the technique basically due to the equipment and software needed, makes the process more or less unavailabe to small productions. Yet, these techniques are getting simplified and universal with the 3d software compatibity. More and more, we'll be able to see these resources in wider ranges of the visual market, not only restricted to high end film productions such as Lord of the Rings where Gollum showed the amazing capabilities, or Jar Jar Binks in Star wars. Here bizarre looking examples of this technology that brings naturality to animated 3d characters.
