It's been a while since the last post on projection mapping. I guess I've been away of the technique for a while, but I definately love it, so expect more about it, I know you guys love it too. This time what I want you to focus on apart from the composition itself, is the first secs of the video. You''ll be able to see Cinema 4d for the volume manipulation of the compostion, and also a photoshop layout of the mapping proyectors. Get it? Picture of the mapping surface with approximately the same lenses as the proyectors. Then Photoshop, you more or less picture your canvas, then you go into after and cinema to generate the material (hint Camera mapping), and then modul8 or VDMX or Isadora or Resolume Av to make the actual mapping in situ. There's very few stuff on the subject, apparently visual artists are keeping this one in secrecy. I give you this insight.
Check Legwork's webpage, is really nice, I love it. legworkstudio.com
